I started doing nails in 2006 and opened Petal & Polish in Penfield in 2014, with two pedicure chairs. Six of us work here now, and plenty of clients have been seeing the same tech for years.
We run a booking list and a walk-in list side by side, so you can plan ahead or drop in after work. Weekday evenings are the quickest time to walk in.

Questions
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, every day until an hour before we close. Saturday mornings are busiest, so book ahead then if you can.
How long does a set take?
About 45 minutes for a gel manicure, an hour for dip powder and 50 minutes for a classic pedicure. Nail art adds 10 to 30 minutes.
What do you charge?
Every price is on this page: manicures from $26, pedicures from $40 and nail art from $5 a nail.
Do you do removals?
Yes: $10 for gel or dip on its own, and free with a new set. We soak it off, so your own nails aren’t filed thin.
Can I bring my own color?
Yes, for regular polish, at the same price. Gel and dip have to be ours so they cure and set properly.
How do you clean your tools?
Metal tools are scrubbed and sterilized in an autoclave after every client. Files, buffers and pedicure liners are used once and thrown away.
What if my gel chips in the first few days?
Come back within five days and we’ll redo it for free.
